Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned residential areas, building entrances, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, unusual conditions, and relevant observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with on-site personnel and emergency responders, providing clear information and supporting a respectful environment for residents and visitors.
