About The Position

As a Security Guard - Train Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or public agency representatives.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and communicate clearly with the public regarding rules, directions, and/or access procedures within the location.
  • Support daily operations by completing assigned rounds, preparing incident reports, and working with local authorities and/or transit personnel during disturbances, medical events, or other unusual situations.
