As a Security Guard Screening Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Government Screener with Allied Universal, you will help support a professional, welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and communicating clearly with the public and site personnel. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and help deter incidents through attentive service. This driving position offers the opportunity to apply your experience while demonstrating teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care for others.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of persons, bags, packages, and other authorized items in accordance with established procedures.
  • Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry to restricted areas; maintain visitor logs and issue access credentials as directed.
  • Respond to incidents, prohibited-item findings, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
