As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver Full-Time in Levittown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. This driving post involves routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and being attentive to customer and employee interactions.
- Work closely with store management and Allied Universal supervisors to address any security-related concerns or incidents.
- Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
