As a Patrol Officer in a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the area. You will provide exceptional customer service while assisting guests and staff, and your presence will contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit from the location.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with store staff regarding observed security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
