Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
Assist with crowd management and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
