As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the area by vehicle. You will engage with the public, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 12:00 PM - 04:00 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual situations encountered during patrols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed while representing Allied Universal.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
