As a Security Guard - Real Estate Patrol Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you engage with building occupants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in upholding our company values by acting with integrity and working collaboratively with your team. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols or while on post.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and/or visitors to provide assistance and relay important information as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift as required by site-specific policies.
