Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. You will conduct routine patrols, assist staff and visitors, and deliver service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

• Required hospital vaccines must be obtained.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while observing for policy violations, access issues, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding observed activity and ongoing concerns.
