As a Security Guard Patrol in Goleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support restricted area control and visitor management.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and policy-related concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to Allied Universal leadership.
