As a Security Guard Patrol in Sandy Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, service areas, vehicle storage locations, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and local responders as needed while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
