As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate and retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and customers. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related needs with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
