About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness across the site. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Bring strong communication and customer service skills while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, entry points, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining awareness of shipping, receiving, and vehicle traffic activity.
  • Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing site activity, reporting policy violations, and assisting with traffic direction, post orders, and other security-related duties as assigned.
