As a Security Guard Patrol Driver with Active Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report access control issues, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support emergency and continuity-related procedures by assisting with evacuations, route control, and communication during critical situations or operational disruptions.
