Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. In this driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
