As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide welcoming customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service to customers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the location perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and security-related concerns, and document and report observations according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and emergency response activities as directed by location management and Allied Universal.
