As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support a dynamic environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required activity logs.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations observed during patrols through established reporting channels.
