Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a professional commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, lobby activity, and exterior areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist visitors with directions, and support daily site operations with a professional presence.
• Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, tenants, and/or client representatives regarding security-related concerns.
