Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, property policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Document daily activity, access-related events, and unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns according to Allied Universal standards and site protocols.
