About The Position

As a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in Scott, Louisiana, you will help safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This part-time, unarmed driving role involves providing customer service, carrying out site-specific security procedures, and responding to incidents when appropriate. You will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible security presence, monitor access points, and communicate and document relevant observations. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, and identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential security issues.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.
Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
