You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to resident concerns, and document observations with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity and teamwork to a caring culture that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and community rules compliance, providing directions, answering questions, and escalating concerns through established post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local emergency services when required and assisting with scene control until relieved.
  • Document patrols, observed conditions, and incidents in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
