About The Position

The Security Guard Lead is responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility. This role requires the ability to perform the duties of immediate staff, ensure the accuracy of reports, and implement disciplinary procedures when necessary. The lead will also resolve employee conflicts, maintain logs, and attend meetings. The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs and performing other duties as assigned. The company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment and conducts drug, alcohol, and background checks. Employment eligibility verification is required.

Requirements

• Previous security experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual preferred
• Computer skills and knowledge
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work in the weather conditions
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility
• Knowing all of the duties of immediate staff and the ability to perform them
• Ensuring completion and accuracy of reports done by staff
• Completing daily and weekly reports as needed
• Implementing disciplinary procedures when necessary
• Resolving employee conflicts and issues promptly and objectively
• Directing communication with company and outside services
• Maintaining logs for inbound and outbound trucks
• Attending meetings as scheduled
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Performing other duties as assigned
