As a Security Guard Hospital in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and reporting of suspicious activity or facility concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
