Requirements

• At least 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support authorized entry and orderly operations.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant updates with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
