As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
