About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Screening Officer in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access policies, and security-related protocols at a healthcare location.
Screen individuals entering designated areas, verify authorization as required, and direct patients and visitors to appropriate entrances, departments, or waiting areas.
Observe and report unusual activity, prohibited items, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Maintain accurate screening-related logs, incident reports, and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
