As a Security Guard - Entry Level in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a busy financial institution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain a visible presence to help discourage security-related concerns, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, vendors, and/or employees, verifying authorization when required, and documenting security-related concerns.
• Support security-related operations at a financial services location by helping to deter unauthorized activity, preserving order, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
