About The Position

As a Security Guard - Driving Patrol in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This is a primarily driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will interact with tenants and visitors, offer exceptional customer service, and support a secure environment, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the office buildings and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Maintain a visible presence within the commercial real estate location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to tenants and visitors.
Document and report any irregularities, property damage, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement if required during incidents or emergencies.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or exit from the premises.
