As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and provide outstanding customer service. This role requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail environment.
Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.
