As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is a driving post, where you will interact with customers and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
This position is primarily a driving post.
Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help protect people and property.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points within the retail environment.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious behavior.
Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and/or emergencies as they arise.
