Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer supporting an active construction location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access concerns while providing professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and help keep operations moving through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, including building exteriors, parking areas, and/or active work areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry points and perimeter areas, verifying authorization for individuals and/or vehicles as required and directing traffic flow when needed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
