About The Position

As a Security Guard - Corporate Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, tenants, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, supporting an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
