About The Position

Commissionaires BC is seeking an experienced guard to work at the CRA Monitor Room site in Surrey. This role involves monitoring CCTV cameras and alarm systems, handling incoming calls, maintaining logs, producing reports, and conducting client follow-ups. The position requires a valid BC security license, Canadian residency for the past 5 years, and a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. Previous experience with multi-camera CCTV monitoring is essential. Requirements

Valid BC security license
Must have resided in Canada for the last 5 years due to security clearance requirements
OFA 1 Certificate or be willing to obtain one
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment
Previous experience monitoring multiple CCTV cameras simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven time-management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV cameras and fire/alarm systems and reporting any suspicious activity
Take incoming calls from the public, police and/or employees in a timely manner.
Maintaining a detailed log after the end of each shift
Producing ad hoc reports as required by various departments
Conducting follow-up reviews with clients to ensure client satisfaction
Any other ad-hoc duties may be assigned to you in your role
