As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining controlled entry to restricted areas.
  • Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
