As a Security Guard Badge Desk in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a residential community by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and maintaining a professional, welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication to residents, guests, and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with established community procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident records while communicating access concerns and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
