As a Security Guard Badge Desk in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a residential community by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and maintaining a professional, welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide responsive customer service and clear communication to residents, guests, and visitors. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with established community procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident records while communicating access concerns and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
