As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication and deliver outstanding customer service. This post requires an Armed Guard Card and/or license. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Carry and maintain authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, state and local laws, and post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site management and law enforcement as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, around the exterior perimeter, and in parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, and CCTV where assigned, verify identification and/or authorization for entry, and complete accurate reports and logs for security-related incidents and routine activities.
