As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and Act 235 qualification. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Act 235 qualification is required in Pennsylvania only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a professional armed presence in and around a financial services location, helping to deter unauthorized activity while following all post orders and use of force guidelines.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies, office areas, cash handling zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate status updates to supervision and/or the client in a timely manner.
