As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you support a secure environment for clients and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a people-first culture.

Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address any unusual circumstances.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the financial institution to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or in response to incidents, following company and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain proficiency in the use of assigned equipment, including firearms, following Allied Universal and client policies.
