As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Complete detailed incident reports and document observations during patrols and/or in response to incidents.
Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
Participate in training sessions and maintain proficiency in the use of assigned security equipment, including firearms, as required by post assignment.
