As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter suspicious behavior and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and document observations during patrols and/or in response to incidents.
  • Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Participate in training sessions and maintain proficiency in the use of assigned security equipment, including firearms, as required by post assignment.
