Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An active Department of Defense Confidential Clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed response.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public to provide information or assistance as needed.
Follow all protocols regarding the carrying and use of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
