As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Aero Sector in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to alarms, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and protect assets.
Monitor access control points and check credentials to help maintain authorized entry to restricted areas.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and law enforcement as necessary.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Remain alert to unusual conditions or potential threats within the location, escalating concerns as appropriate.
