As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm communication. You will document observations, support access control, and assist staff and visitors with customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card/license is required.
  • The client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, maintaining readiness and following all applicable licensing requirements, post orders, and use of force guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and access control concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobbies, parking areas, ATM areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
