Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, surrounding property, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and report hazards, disturbances, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support loss prevention and emergency response efforts by assisting with de-escalation, crowd management, and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
