Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or deliveries, and support access control procedures for staff, visitors, vehicles, and materials moving through the location.
• Assist with incident reporting, follow post orders, and communicate clearly during routine operations, emergencies, and/or shifts with changing working environments and conditions.
