As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment in a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to assist in preventing issues, and provide professional customer service while upholding high standards of integrity and teamwork. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
Interact with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public at the location, offering assistance and guidance as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required to support security-related operations.
Prepare and submit clear incident and patrol reports as directed by site procedures.
