Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol - Government in Winnemucca, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with individuals onsite, always delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor the location for potential security-related concerns and report observations according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the government environment.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public, providing assistance as needed.
Document and report all incidents, activities, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Comply with all applicable legal requirements and Allied Universal policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
