As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid guard card or license is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when possible.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related threats.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during the shift as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to address incidents at the location.
Maintain a professional presence while carrying assigned equipment and performing patrols as required for an armed post.
