Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a strong presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond promptly to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and report findings promptly according to established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the government location.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when needed.
Participate in ongoing training and exercises to stay current with security-related procedures and requirements.
