As a Security Guard Armed Driver Patrol Threat Detection in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional service to visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR an Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR a Police Academy Certificate OR a Corrections Academy Certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Guard Card/License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site procedures and contacting appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established government facility protocols.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related matters.
