Requirements

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • A valid armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
  • Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
